Jamie Blanek
On the evening of February 6, 2021, in Waco, Texas, Jamie was the first to arrive at a horrible accident scene; a jeep had crashed and rolled over several times. Unfortunately, while helping, Jamie would be hit as well. She suffered a traumatic amputation of her right leg above the knee and was life-flighted to a level 1 trauma hospital. Her injuries were extensive.
Jamie summoned her faith, courage, and conviction to live a purpose driven life. Her unique life story is a powerful source of hope. She is an advocate for change, and she fearlessly lives life to show others they, too, can defy that which seems impossible.

NEW SIGN INSTALLED
Thank you to Gate Precast for manufacturing and donating the new sign, and also LB Foster for building and donating the bases. Both organizations have been long term partners and supporters of the Club. Pictured above are Gate employees taking pride in setting the new sign. Another sign is being manufactured for the main building. The club teaches teamwork each day and the coordination between Gate Precast and LB Foster is a perfect example. Many local organizations including the Hillsboro School District and City have been strong supporters of the Club and our mission. The Club would not exist without this generous support.
