On the evening of February 6, 2021, in Waco, Texas, Jamie was the first to arrive at a horrible accident scene; a jeep had crashed and rolled over several times. Unfortunately, while helping, Jamie would be hit as well. She suffered a traumatic amputation of her right leg above the knee and was life-flighted to a level 1 trauma hospital. Her injuries were extensive. 

Jamie summoned her faith, courage, and conviction to live a purpose driven life. Her unique life story is a powerful source of hope. She is an advocate for change, and she fearlessly lives life to show others they, too, can defy that which seems impossible.
